But isn't this kind of like the Games! A bunch of kids trapped someplace together. Maybe this this is like some new, post-Victory Tour thing where they boggle our heads and don't give us any prep. Make us put on a whole new show; clueless and confused kids to be slaughtered by the brand new star Finnick Odair! You said it gets worse- that would be worse.

Look, right now there are two camps I can put my trust in- with mysterious future boy Peeta or with the cute guy I watched murder people. With those options in front of me, sorry for running with even crazier ideas.

It's weird because I'm glad there won't be a slaughterfest each year anymore, but I guess it doesn't really fix any of my problems back in 7. But it helps people's problems in the future? You and me?

I don't really trust the future. Don't take it personal future boy, I just think the best things are from a long time ago, and the rest of this is always going to seem pretty lousy by comparison. Also you're not really giving it the big sell.
