My favorite time of year is nearly here. It's strange to think I won't be spending it at home. But maybe there's a way to make up for that? I'm not a bad cook and I like large gatherings - as long as everyone behaves themselves.

Would anyone be interested in a nice dinner party for Christmas? I know it's a little early, but I'd like to have plenty of time to plan. Besides it's nice to have something to look forward to, right?

Ah - Harry. Koizumi pauses, uncertain. Apparently she wasn't aware he'd been here before, and he didn't feel it was precisely his place... but it wouldn't better to lie to her about it.

When he speaks again, Koizumi's voice is hesitant but gentle.] Actually, I've met Harry before. He was here for a time. Certainly good - though perhaps not so little, anymore.

Christmas?

It's a holiday celebrated in my world. There are two versions of it, really. One is religious and the other is commercial.

Ohh, I thought the name sounded familiar. How would you and your friends celebrate it? Ahh, dinner aside.

Also, that book I suggest earlier is on hold for you.

I come from a family that celebrates the religious aspect of it, but I wouldn't expect anyone else to do that. Mostly it would be a dinner, mingling, drinks, music and maybe presents depending on who comes and what they bring. I like making sure everyone gets a gift.

I'll get you the list of dishes I made last year, and I'll make them again so you don't have to. We're going to need more than one kitchen, that seems certain. Do you have a specialty? I wouldn't want to accidentally double up.

Food and drink I can definitely help with. I had a fairly small party myself last year, but I'll be honest, I'm really much more comfortable with larger gatherings!
