I guess I'll start over. Umm. Alright so you're the weirdest pirates ever but I think you're all aware of that. Moving on. Aisling and I had this conversation that got into peanut butter before, which I had never known about and I think is pretty great, and now I'm just kind of wondering about other food. What's like a normal thing that I should really know about? [ he shoves Indy away a bit because she's preening his head but after she insists on doing it he just accepts his fate, drops his hand, and lets her after a moment. sigh. ]

And, well Rapunzel's apparently researching Halloween so I won't ask about that or you're just being repetitive on this. From what I grasped it was like Winternights only you have a costumed sweet-collection going on? Yeah. Anyway, someone mentioned meals too and I doubt anyone's trying to sacrifice things to Jack to ensure a good winter anytime soon- ...They're not right? I'm fine with skipping that one if we're good there-- but it got me thinking about that too. What are the other things everyone celebrates here during the year besides that one coming up?

[ He pauses and glances up at Indy then looks back to the camera ] Also if anyone was looking for a blue parrot, Indy found it before and you're probably not getting it back.

Well, that would be giving it away, wouldn't it? I can't tell you everything, because then what am I going to do on Halloween if I can't chase down kids who don't know what monsters smell like?

Thanks for sharing some of that at least, Lady Monster. ...Assuming that's what you're getting at with the chasing children part.

Or are you 'the dead'? Do those go in the same category?

Me? You could probably call me both. I'm a vampire. I'm totally all about chasing and soul-sucking, you know.

Are you saying that you don't believe me, puny mortal!?

I'm not exactly clear on what a vampire is besides being an undead being that apparently devours mortal children's souls but I'm not doubting you on that part.

I think someone else would've told me if everyone was at risk of losing souls because the place was going to be overrun with monsters though.

Well, that's what the costumes are for, duh. Haven't you been paying attention?

Also, ask around about vampires. I'm not the only one here, either, you know. And those grey kids are probably soul-stealing monsters too.

Nobody said "wear the costume or else you lose your soul."

How many vampires are there? I thought the grey guys were like dark elves but I have nothing to back that one up.

As far as I know, it's just Conrad and me, but... we're not exactly the most social of creatures, so they could just be hiding out in a cave somewhere or something. The grey kids... I dunno about them. They're weird, and they've got horns so.. maybe some kind of ugly demon? Who knows?

You're being kind of social. I don't know about ugly demons. I think they're kind of cool looking and from what I've seen of them at school they just seem really loud not evil.

I get bored. I mean, you never see me hanging out at clubs or parties or anything, right? Although.. once I get my hands on a sweet new bass, that'll probably change.

Not all demons are evil. Just like not all cats are cute or all humans dumb and gullible.

Understandable. A cave can't be too entertaining. ...A bass?

That's true. You can't judge something unless you get to know it.

A bass. It's like a guitar or.. like some other kind of stringed instrument. It makes mostly low tones. It's pretty neat if you wanna come hear me play sometime.

So then what about me? What do you think about me now that you've gotten to know me a little bit.

Sure as long as hearing you play doesn't include losing my soul right after.

You seem okay. Do you actually chase children?

[myfries]

Sometimes I like to. Especially if they're kinda weedy and look like they scare easily. Nothing makes me happier than the terrified screams of little children.

Yeah, pretty much. You're saying that you're not?

Vikings don't scare easily. Sorry.

Vikings are usually a little beefier than you are, too, and wouldn't take flack from a dinosaur.
