[Eleven had parked the TARDIS atop a high cloud. Technically she didn't need the cloud to support her, but it did help save energy a little. He was sitting in the doorway, gazing out over the ocean, and brooding.

He often came up here, when the island stole someone away from him, or he wanted to think of the past. It was quieter, more peaceful - the world just seemed simpler, if only for a while.

His eyes had long since unfocused, and he was not looking at anything in particular, staring off into the distance - when suddenly a flicker of motion caught his attention. Was that... a person?

It was! And they were flinging themselves against the barrier, again and again! Having run the TARDIS into the barrier in his early days on the island, Eleven knew what kind of damage such a collision could do. He ran back inside the TARDIS, quickly re-materializing closer to the barrier, and its unknown assailant.

He leaned out of the door, seeing Jack and immediately understanding what was happening. He closed his eyes for a moment, feeling frustrated and helpless. He might be able to talk Jack out of hurting himself, but Loki would still be gone, and there was as yet nothing he had managed to do about that problem.] Jack!

[Jack was used to people, or spirits appearing out of nowhere. He didn't so much as blink when the TARDIS appears in his line of vision, flinging himself into the barrier, over and over, as if sheer stubbornness will get it to move. He's been falling down his whole life--literally. This? This was nothing.

Someone had to do something and if he had to he would he needed to and this would distract him from creating a blizzard and making everything worse.

His throat felt raw from yelling at the barrier with each hit, cursing its existence as much as the Island's. So he had gone quiet, repetitively flying into it, even hitting it with his staff or throwing a burst of the frozen lightning its way. That quickly drained enough energy to allow him to keep doing that, so he just mindlessly attacked. He didn't listen when he hears Eleven's voice, and he didn't pause. He was fine. If he wasn't, he wouldn't be there.]
