"Oh Hel," is what he says to himself as he runs. Not much later, there's a number of text messages sent out. He's become good at typing and running.

Occupational hazard. There have been many... unforeseen problems that arose.

In Midgardian film this would when time would change and one of us, in unfortunate circumstances, would begin to fade away because the past has been changed through traveling to the future. Perhaps I should acquired a DeLorean.

[when the words came out, there was a ferocity even he did not expect.]

And you won't ever change. You speak of it as sorrow, but it runs deeper than just pain.

[Loki stays seated, but regards his other with a raised eyebrow.]

I have changed much.

[His words are strangely soft. He is speaking to himself, not to another. He is the only person he can be true with. Loki can only trust Loki, after all.]

Sorrow is more than pain. It is despair and disappointment and a loneliness that runs deeper than any physical weapon can ever pierce. As Loki is would seem we are both fated to see the true depths of sorrow. It is a shame it had to come so soon for you.

No, your motivations are the same. They'll always be the same, and that's what makes you predictable. It's sad, and moreso you'll repeat it again and again. More intensely each time until you can no longer see anything but that unrelenting bitterness. It's not despair, as I've felt despair, and I will not allow it to poison me.

[he straightens to look at him.]

You are no longer the God of Mischief you once were.

[Loki frowns at the other]

You assume much of me, for knowing so little. How do you presume to know so much of myself when you seem so intent on separating us into separate beings? It is all assumptions no doubt based on what you have heard of me from these Avengers, and not even Thor himself.

I might have miscalculated along the way, but I am and always will be the God of Mischief and Chaos, as will you. You would do well to remember that.

[he takes a few steps closer, but he's still standing his ground. there's an odd innocence to him. someone who hasn't been tainted with the woes of a long life. though the Loki who he was had been much more calculating and malicious than this one.]

Miscalculations don't count in chaos, nor do calculations.

What do you plan on doing here? You're trapped, too.

[He chuckles, still regarding the other.]

Given that I have been here only a matter of hours? I do not quite know yet. As everyone seems to think I will go mad and try to destroy the place I might just lay low for a while. Relax, perhaps earn back that title you seem to think I lost.

[His lips quirk up a bit at the other. He remains sitting, reclining now, actually. He is completely relaxed.]

It's part of the reputation. The mad part, that is. It was part of your doing, wasn't it? When you summoned that monster and destroyed Asgard. I suppose their fears are not exactly misplaced.
