"Oh Hel," is what he says to himself as he runs. Not much later, there's a number of text messages sent out. He's become good at typing and running.
He was out of time.

It may be for the best if you don't let him know that you're affiliated with me. He may not like it, and he doesn't take well to things he doesn't like.

FROM: Loki
You spoke briefly of your powers that control the stream of Time. Tell me of them. In summary. A very concise summary.

[She sounds rather firm about that, rather sure. But then, how many thousands of other selves has she had?]
But please continue.

[What do you want from me?]
It's why I'm here now. We are both Loki, and I feel like the world is far too small for two of us when it comes to his opinion. Though the world is much to small for many things, if we are to speak of that.

[But she takes pity on him, and her telekinesis releases him- and after a moment one of her hands finds his shoulder and squeezes encouragingly.]
I know it's hard. I just want to make sure I understand everything that's important.

You're very set on this.

[She squeezes again; she can't hug him, can she? Nor pap him, softly, it wouldn't be polite or appropriate.]

[his words are simple, honest. he had it him when he wasn't lying for self-preservation, he was being painfully truthful.]

Does he know he's going to become you?
[ Her arms wrap carefully around his neck, in a very awkward hug, too short to properly pull him to his shoulder and not short enough to fit up against his without horns getting in the way. ]

[it was much better in this place without him, that's all he could say. the person he was ... well, for thousands of years he was the picture of "what not to do" on the tongue of everyone who retold the myths of the gods.]
I could not tell you what, Aradia.
[the affection is a little odd, but not unpleasant. he hadn't had a confident since he had forced Hela to throw Leah into the past. and he knew ... he knew that she would never forgive him for that, no matter what his reasons were for it.]

[ Her hug doesn't last long; already it feels too awkward to continue pressed like that, physically and emotionally. Unwelcome, probably, given that she'd just pulled his strings as best as she couldn't and hadn't even been subtle about it. ]
It will be ok, Loki. Thank you for telling me.

he was still wondering if he had somehow made things worse. he usually did, somehow.]
You're very convincing.

[That's not even a boast! The evidence usually suggests that one way or another, she can make everything go the way it ought, and in the end she's never wrong about which way that should be.]

[he replies, slumped in his seat half leaning against her.]

[ She lets him lean there, patting his shoulder soothingly every so often. Pretty soon she should get off, before this gets too awkward, but not if he's not- ok, just yet. ]
