[he twists his wrist and grabs hers instead, and pulls her off in any particular direction. he's still holding his phone with the other hand.]

A fine idea, m'lady. Let's run!

A very good question! One I will be sure to answer once I catch my breath.

Why'd you stop to take a picture?

[we are totally running now.]

Now everyone knows what it looks like. Things cease to be frightening when you see them, don't they? ...Ah, don't answer that. That thing is scary.

[vdova]

[ She can't argue with that logic. And she's trying to keep pace with him, too-- her legs are a bit longer, even if she's not terribly much taller. ] You have to hide.

[voice, because she doesn't want him to have to stop running to type]

[That thing looks like it has some crazy big teeth.

Hey, she's working on a murder case that potentially involves something with crazy big teeth. This is relevant to her interests, it would seem. Plus seeing Loki hurt is not something she wants.]

[everyone alerted also meant that they may have back-up soon, as well. it would just be staying alive until then. he looks at her a little dubiously as they duck behind a corner.]

That's not a very good plan. Do you have something to shoot at it? That's a much better plan.

[vdova]

You throwing rocks at it wasn't a very good plan, either. [ She skids to a stop beside him, pushing him behind her. ] You don't have magic like the big one, do you?

[he scrambles a little to look around her.]

No ... well ... that's still up to debate, but right now my skills are not very useful. Unless we figure out a way to trick it.

Get down! [ She hisses and swats at him. ] To answer your other question, no, I don't have anything on me. I just wanted to talk to the landlord. [ A pause. ] I'm still better equipped to take it on than you.

Running is a much better option. Someone should see my post soon, so for now we just have to keep ourselves alive. Difficult, but not impossible. If that dashing lizard-man is murdering people, then it would be better that we didn't get ourselves killed.

If we run together, he'll catch us both together. You need to go.

[okay, he looks displeased with that plan.]
