[it takes him by surprise. very, very by surprise. he remembers Natasha's red hair as the last thing he sees, before he tumbles ungracefully onto the beach, the sky above him and the sand against his back. he breathes once, twice, his mind catching up with his thoughts. the adrenaline was still pumping.]
Oh Hel.
[he says, on his back. he scrambles to his feet.]
I have to go back.
[and he sets his eyes on him, and says, demanding.]
[Anita arrives on the scene mere minutes after her brief conversation with Loki, but a whole lot can happen in just a few minutes. She's winded, having run there at top speed, and the first thing she notices is that Loki himself is nowhere to be seen -- but a vaguely familiar redheaded woman is, sprawled on the ground and looking a hell of a lot worse for wear.
Well. That makes the next course of action clear enough.
Anita turns quickly on her heel when she hears something large moving to her left, greeting with the sight of the same beast Loki had been so kind as to share a picture of.]
Well, thanks for making this easy, buddy.
[She's actually pretty proud of herself for not sounding as panicked as she feels. She sets her jaw, pulling out the Browning from its holster and taking aim, sighting down her arm at the creature and firing three times in rapid succession, steeling herself against the kickback. Silver bullets might not be enough to kill the thing, but they sure are great as slowing things down.]
[While Homura won't be in sight, Anita might feel her presence nearby. The moment Loki's post went up on the network, she'd tracked him down, spending sand recklessly to do it in almost no time -- only to arrive moments before his older self teleported him away.
From then, it was a judgment call -- he might be more at risk from himself than an adult she didn't know well would be from a creature not much larger than her. She'd hesitated only a moment before turning to look for him -- catching sight of him just before he was teleported again.
By the time she returned, Natasha was already down, and she'd checked her vital signs before retreating to a good sniping position.
To Anita's necromantic senses, her presence would have flickered in and out of existence, varying wildly in position from one moment to the next.
For now, she waits, lining up her best shot but unwilling to spend it unless it's necessary.]
It's very ugly, isn't it? It has a lot of teeth, I've met them, and I didn't much care for their way of relaying a proper greeting. Kate and I will be more than happy to tell you of the finer points of our investigation, seeing as I make it out with my head still attached. I'm starting to have doubts.
[he looks somewhat somber when Billy appears, but he starts at the sudden appearance. ah, yes, a lot of these people could teleport (which included his Evil-Self). for a moment he almost expected to see him again, but the relief washes over him when the flow of adrenaline catches up with the realization that it was not Evil-Him.]
This wasn't exactly planned, but it does have its uses.
[he can hear the sirens outside, and opts to find a back way out now that Natasha is in safe hands.]
[ Action! ]

Not sure if we're getting anyone else, but was told it would run once outnumbered.

Teddy, he's at the school. Scott and I are already on the way -- let me know if you need directions.
And no, you don't want to ask what it is. But we'll fill you in when you get here.

( Suddenly he's there, fully suited up, and holding his cape out to protect the young Loki from... nothing? Well, that was pretty pointless.
Wiccan heaves a sigh and drops his guard. )
Not that it matters, but you should probably just stick to Instagram next time.
