Those other doctors certainly picked a very festive time to take me out of my "fictional reality", as they put it. Luckily, I didn't have any plans to disturb. I got a 'Merry Christmas' right before my I'd imagine standard 'Hello, you're fictional' speech yesterday.

Help a poor new arrival out, will you?
On a scale of one to ten: How upset should I be that I'm here? It's so hard to make a clear judgement a place when it's decorated for the holidays.

It would seem you at least missed a bit of the usual Christmas excitement, which will probably work in your favour and give you a little more time to adjust before things get weird again.

Hopefully enough time. Does the island do anything for the New Year?

It's hard to say. Most of the events are random and unexpected, but some of them seem to be centred around holidays.

How are you adjusting to everything? From where do you come, if you don't mind my asking? I like to try to help people adjust to life here. It can be hard for some people.

Like the kissing one I heard about? Hm.

I'm adjusting well enough. It's certainly disorienting but I'll do alright. Where? An American city. I'm curious how to answer that if realities are coming in to play here. I wonder if I should specify the year.

Sometimes it helps. I've been through quite a few time periods myself. I might be able to help bring you up to speed. We're just about to leave 2012 here ourselves, Dr. Crane.

Leaving 2012? That's about eight years. It really wouldn't be a bother for you to bring someone up to speed? I wouldn't want to fall behind.
