You might be from one of those alternate universes, but I think I know about a Phil Coulson who works for SHIELD.

Captain Marvel was the name an old friend of mine had. He died recently, so Cap convinced me to take his old name.

That's honorable. I'm sure the original will be proud you decided to use it.
