All around weird things? Sort of the norm for me. This place takes a whole flotilla of cakes which I'm guessing is what you guys hear pretty much every time there's a fresh face here.

So hi. Freshest face reporting. I'm Buffy Summers and I'm going to be more willing to believe this whole thing the second I get through a nice long talk with Scooby Doo or Harry Potter. Honestly, I'll even take that guy from The Matrix.

Oh, and if anyone sees a wooden stake lying around could you just do me a favor and toss it my way?

[ Not because she thinks she'll be meeting any vampires, but she dropped it somewhere and she'd really like at least one thing to remind her of home. It's not like she had a ton on her when she ended up here. Otherwise she really, really wouldn't ask publicly since she's still unsure about this whole thing. ]

I read the first two but I don't exactly leap out to the bookstore every time one comes out. Pleasure reading doesn't really come out as number one priority a lot of the time.

[ Between school and murder and mayhem and bad relationships. Most of which all happen at the same time. ]

On the bright side? I'm going with it being a lot less creepy that I don't know everything about you already.

It's a spoiler I'd very much like to know before I end up liking you and getting into a really bad situation.

[ Because she's.. been in love with the bad guy before. Definitely nowhere near expecting it to go that way with Sirius, but even friendship? Not something she wants to deal with. There's a slight change in her tone where she says she's not joking about that. ]

No, but I'll be slightly reassured by the fact that you at least want me to think that. Some bad guys like to advertise it and I don't really get any Spider Sense tingles on you, so I'm leaning toward an okay person already.

I don't know about being good.

But I am on Harry's side. Always.

Harry's side tends to be the good side. Beyond that, everybody makes mistakes. Self included.

At some point I think it grows a bit beyond just 'mistake'. But, anyway, good to hear you're not going to kill me on side, because I'd really rather not.

Do you guys just get a lot of people who you have to worry about trying to kill you?

[ If only he knew that her puns were almost always when she was actually staking. It just sounds like a joke about her being harmless otherwise. ]
