So here's the thing: ignoring the whole not technically real bit-- since, y'know, been there, done that long enough, thanks-- I gotta give credit to this world for somehow trapping me here. Noooot exactly something that's ever happened to me before. Way to go! Buuut I'm getting ahead of things. Kinda jumped right in with the dialogue without properly introducing myself, woops. The name's Lea. Got it memorized?

Great, now that I've got that covered, I've just got a couple of questions I'd like answered. First off, anyone seen any kids with giant keys hanging around? Or, well, okay, anyone with a giant key, I guess. It prooobably sounds weird, but it's kind of important. Aaand the other thing is, all kudos to the world barrier for being able to block me aside, is there anyone here working on figuring that thing out? 'Cause if there is, I'd definitely be willing to be part of that getting-the-heck-out-of-here committee. Just sayin'!

[Man you're always going to be Axel, deal with it. Either way Roxas is literally in the middle of town sitting on a bench. He's sort of lost still. But he's getting a good sense of where he's going.] Okay. Not moving. I'll...see you soon. [But is he ready for that? Not that it matters because lbr Lea likes to ninja in when Roxas leasts expects it. Part of his charm and all.]

[Lea barely takes the time to turn off his phone before he's open one of those nifty darkness corridors and coming out the other side right in front of Roxas. he could've been right behind him ok he is restraining his creepy factor by like eleven. but yes, at first he just stands there staring a bit awkwardly, because the last time he saw Roxas face to face for real he tried to set him on fire and it only just hit him. Still, Lea is nothing if not really good at pretending he has done nothing wrong ever, so. Waves.]

[He doesn't have much time to register what's going on, really. One minute he's ending the call and the next there's an Axel..Lea...Leaxel in front of him. He doesn't say anything at first because the same thought seems to be crossing his mind. He gives an awkward wave back, but he doesn't quite get up yet. He's mostly trying to make sure he's not hallucinating or anything.]

...took you long enough. [It's a tentative joke, but he's trying.]

[lea is taking that as roxas expressing the fact that he is glad to see him and it's definitely time to pretend nothing dumb ever happened between them. :D yep. nothing at all. ever.]

I know, right? Instant travel just isn't what it used to be. [unfortunately for everyone involved, pretending everything is cool between them and always has been involves continuing terrible jokes.] Anyway... So, whaddya want to know? Specifically. I'll... I'll tell you everything, this time.

[except parts like "I died" or "I kidnapped a little girl" or really any part that makes him look bad because HAHAHAHAHA no.]

[there is a long. long. very long pause. he stares completely blankly at Roxas for the entire length of that exceedingly long pause. COULDN'T ROXAS PICK ANYTHING ELSE????????????? ANYTHING AT ALL??? he doesn't want to say this or talk about it but he just said he'd actually answer Roxas's question and WHY DID HE PROMISE THAT GDIT everything is awful]

Honestly... I guess I was just cleaning up my mess. [sighs and rubs the back of his head] We're kinda skipping a few steps here, but-- when someone's Nobody and their heartless get destroyed, they turn back into who they were before. That's why it's Lea now. Get it?

[that's not answering roxas's question at all he knows but he's trying to find a diplomatic way to admit to heroic suicide for sora]

[That totally doesn't explain anything, and the look on his face probably says as much. He's just trying to think of where to start.] No. What mess? You're not making sense again.

[he doesn't like to talk about feelings and himself and now he has to do both, he is admittedly floundering]

I know. I'm guessin' there's a no take-backsies policy on the whole "tell you everything" thing, huh? [waves it off] Kidding. Look... when you merged with Sora, I quit the Organization. Took me long enough, but I-- there was nothing keeping me there. And then I... did... some dumb stuff.

[...so they both left. Okay. Okay that wins Lea some points at least. His posture relaxes a little more and he leans forward to give Lea his total undivided attention. This is important, but he's totally stalling and Roxas doesn't like that.] But...you do dumb stuff sometimes. How's that any different?

Gee. Thanks. [he deadpans that, but he's obviously amused. He's glad to see Roxas relax around him, even though that is really not going to last with what he's saying next.] I tried to get you back by turning Sora into a Heartless.

[there were better ways to say it, and Lea considered every single one of them, but. He is genuinely sorry for the entire thing.]

[He just grins in response because hey, sorry, it's funny. That grin quickly plummets though as soon as Lea says the next statement, and suddenly he's standing up to walk closer.]

...you did what. [Really, he's not even sure what he's upset about. That logic probably makes sense if he stopped long enough to think about it, but he's not. He's just focused on "I tried doing something to Sora."]

[Lea winces a bit but doesn't step back even as Roxas advances, just looks away as he continues talking.]

It's not like I even got anywhere close to succeeding. I kidnapped Sora's other best friend, but she got away from me. The Organization already knew what I was doing-- it didn't matter to them, whether it was you or Sora, so long as someone was slaying Heartless. But... Kairi was pretty good leverage to make sure Sora did what they wanted. [he sighs before shaking his head in defeat] Saïx got her.

...[Give him think about this for a sec.] Kairi...that girl. [Except his eyes narrow as he hears the news.] Saix? You let Saix take her?

[lea looks at least mildly offended at that accusation, even though that is sort of what happened.] I didn't let him. I told you, she got away from me, and-- he just caught up to her first.

[because he was looking for Axel :T]

No. No, something's not adding up. [He stops short of Lea, just staaaring up at him with a frown.] What was he doing there?

[Lea looks up and sighs before looking straight at Roxas, serious] I told you. You can't turn on the Organization. I used to be the one who took care of the traitors. Since I was the turncoat this time... they sent Saïx.

["BUT WHY SAIX?" Okay that is still something he doesn't get but that's not important.] What did he do to her? What did you do after he took her?
