So, I'm still new here so I thought I could ask. If you can't contact somebody and you can't find them around the island, does that mean they've gone back home? Or something's happened to them? Or something else entirely?

Actually, if you can hack the system, I'll be very impressed. The coding was done by a guy from the 30th Century, and in five months I haven't been able to do anything but define basic parameters.

On average, there's a perceptible shift in reality every fourteen days, lasting an average of three point five days, and not counting chronic phenomena like the 'Dark Hour.'

Sort of depends on your definition of good.

Some of them are good for some people. None are good universally.

Hey, Tim? Do the doctors and other staff mix with us? Like in the cafe and such? Or do they always keep separate?

The support staff do, at least sometimes. The doctors, the scientists, the people who worked the Visitor's Center -- basically, anyone who might know anything -- they tend to stay sequestered. Even their kids are over at Corsair Academy rather than the public schools.

Any chance I might be able to sneak into the Academy?

...That hadn't occurred to me.

They're not considered a security priority. And they've got a summer session, so there are still students there -- remedial and advanced classes.

You probably don't feel like you're infiltrating school every day of your life, then.

Actually, the library is kind of interesting in that I've never seen a collection of so many books say so little about anything.

Aisling. She's a Celtic forest spirit of some sort, and she gets territorial. She also knows all the paths that don't involve mobile exploding plants, which is valuable.

Like I said, no library that has all the island's history. Unless there's one in the Academy.
