Everywhere you go in any world, there always going to be power struggles. Some big, some small. Here, they get pretty big at times. Avengers. Gods. Usually when the big boys out to play, I try not to get picked for either team. That kind of sport's a little rougher than Remy likes.

Now, though, I see you show up, and all these people running around like a poule sans tete. Everybody afraid of you, frere. And that's a bad place to start. But it's enough to make Remy think, maybe I want to be picked for a team this game. The other team already afraid you going to win, and you haven't even flexed your muscles yet.

I like to be on the winning team. Maybe that doesn't make us friends, frere, but it's a good basis for conversation.
