Where I hail, Asgard (note now Asgardia, for accuracy) floats above a stretch of dessert above the very neat mortal city of Broxton. They have great breakfast, perhaps if you're there some time you should try it. However, during Asgard's rise on Midgard, Mister Osborn saw it unfit for occupancy. He wished to, um, evict us. So my Old-Man-Self saw it in his interest to manipulate him into the downfall of Asgard, crashing it into the ground after he sent Sentry to destroy us. Thor prevailed, of course, but not before everything met an unfortunate end by gravity's hand.
It was kinda sorta pretty long before I came into the picture, anyway.
