Frying pan in hand, she scrambles away from her angry adversary, fumbling to get her phone to call out to her fellow technologically-stunted acquaintance.

There's a terrible noise in the background as she puts out a mass call over the network for a single young man.]

Hiccup! Can you hear me? The sink, it... it's roaring at me-- no, growling! There must be a monster or something terrible living in it, and I don't know what to do, and it won't stop!

[That's right folks, Rapunzel has unfortunately discovered the garbage disposal. And who can be bothered to read the unopened mail on the counter when the sink immediately next to it has "come alive" and is on the offense?]

For the moment! But it's not stopping and I don't know how to get it to stop. I-I mean, it must have been living in there before, but it has never growled!

It looks to be in the pipes, so I can't exactly hit it...

Hm... Well... Maybe if you hit it with water! Maybe you can drown it? Oh... well since it's in the pipes maybe it can breathe underwater... Do you think it's just trapped and scared?

I don't know. I've never faced a real monster before!

[Yanno, excluding Gothel, but that's more figurative and ignorance is bliss.]

Maybe it's not a monster, though. Maybe it's just a little animal that's stuck and wants to get out but he can't. Oh... now I feel bad for it.

What animal would make such a terrible growl?

[She sounds a bit dubious, but this person might have a very good point. Inching her way to the sink, she looks down the drain.]

I don't see any animal... or monster.

U-um... golly, I'm not sure. Lots of animals where I'm from growl... but nothing like that... Doesn't it need to breathe? It is awfully scary....

[She peers a little closer, still unable to see anything.]

I think I need more light...

[Rapunzel reaches out to flick both of the switches next to the sink, one having been the one she first tried, the other actually controlling the light above the sink. The growl dies down and comes to a stop.]

Huh?

O-oh! what did you do? It sounds like maybe it went away! Maybe it got tired of growling at you...

I think... I think one of the little wall levers upsets it. Whatever 'it' is.

I guess I shouldn't use that lever again.
