So, while we're having a bit of a quiet time, sort of, question to ponder and/or discuss:
Why do you think we've been brought here?
Inquiring minds want to know your opinion.

And, yeah. I can imagine. Do... did you have anyone to talk with, about that?

They have some printed transcripts from the start of the Network - I suppose to preserve them if the Network should wipe itself at some point - but there's nothing older than that. There aren't any fictional stories there either, not even for the kids. Well, I mean, some for bedtimes and things, I suppose, but it's mostly unnamed children seeing things in nature. Not really a story so much as an easier way to get facts about the ecosystem across, if that makes sense. I haven't seen anyone from the non-fictional school while I was there, but I tend to get pretty wrapped up in my reading.
I did, thank you. I've managed to make some very good friends here, and they were kind enough to put up with me for a bit. It made a big difference to have a welcoming ear, so I've been trying to offer that to other people too, though no one's taken me up on it yet.

I hate being lied to.
But I'm glad for the fact that you've got friends. I think it's really horrible when one has none.
