That big? Unlikely. Big spiders hunt rodents and birds. Our apartment doesn't have either.

I can't even imagine how screwed up a spider that big would be! My mom used to get me kill any spider around the house, she was always paranoid one was gonna be a black widow or something.

I don't know.. This place does pretty weird things. We could have a gigantic spider on our hands soon enough.

Yeah, but she was still your mom. Even when they do bad things and screw you over, it's hard to stay mad at that kind of person.

Maybe. But a lot of kids have terrible parents and they still grow up to be amazing people. I'm not saying it's easy, but.. I don't know about trolls, but humans who've gone through bad things sometimes feel better when they know they're not alone.
