I want a dog.
Is that too much to as for? It's all I ever wanted.
I had one before, very briefly. His name was Bones. I got him when I ran away and ended up getting this nice little setup in Flagstaff. For the first time ever I was completely free to do whatever I wanted. It only lasted for two weeks though.

Seriously though. I really want a dog.

I will! I will get a great dog. One of those really smart ones that you can take everywhere and train to do all sorts of things.
Like handshakes.
Handshakes are a definite must.

I really want to, but what if I leave here? No one has a clue when they're going to disappear from here, if they do. I don't want to abandon him, you know?

If you get a dog, I'd be happy to keep you company while you take it for walks sometimes.

I know the local shelter is always looking for potential adoptive owners for their strays, and there are a few pet shops in town as well - you can get everything you need to support a dog at the Juanes! I've done that twice, actually, now that I think about it.

Thanks! I'd rather go to the shelter to look first anyway. It's usually cheaper but at the same time all of those dogs need homes.
Maybe I'll just get all of them.

I wasn't skipping out, Dean. Not really. I just wanted to be normal and you know living on the road and hunting is far from normal. It was nice to be able to do what I want for once.
