So here's the thing: ignoring the whole not technically real bit-- since, y'know, been there, done that long enough, thanks-- I gotta give credit to this world for somehow trapping me here. Noooot exactly something that's ever happened to me before. Way to go! Buuut I'm getting ahead of things. Kinda jumped right in with the dialogue without properly introducing myself, woops. The name's Lea. Got it memorized?

Great, now that I've got that covered, I've just got a couple of questions I'd like answered. First off, anyone seen any kids with giant keys hanging around? Or, well, okay, anyone with a giant key, I guess. It prooobably sounds weird, but it's kind of important. Aaand the other thing is, all kudos to the world barrier for being able to block me aside, is there anyone here working on figuring that thing out? 'Cause if there is, I'd definitely be willing to be part of that getting-the-heck-out-of-here committee. Just sayin'!

It's-- man. [the thing is, Lea's had a few-- or, well, remembers a few conversations with Roxas that could never have happened, and he has no idea how to ask if Roxas remembers him talking about speaking with Naminé about hearts, and he decides he is just not going to try and. Actually just try to explain like it's not personal, because when it becomes personal Lea balks. And he-- this is stuff Roxas kind of needs to know. Good stuff.]

Roxas, you... I always thought, back then-- you always acted like you had a heart already. And... Nobodies-- it's not as cut and dry as we thought it was. As we were told it was. The body calls to the heart. That's how it's always been. You made me-- [why was this stuff easier to say to Sora's face? wow screw this part] Ugh, whatever. The point is, the boss-- Xemnas lied. We don't start with hearts, but we can grow one. Over time.

[WHY IS THIS SO HARD]

[...things he wished he knew prior to the last week. He's not sure how to respond just yet, feeling the need to take all of this information and think it over and let all of his thoughts run around until he's got a massive headache. But that won't do for now.] But...what about Sora then?

I don't know if... I don't know if that's fixed right now. Last I saw Sora, you weren't exactly around. But you've got your own heart, Roxas.

[Something's wrong here. There's...a lot he's missing suddenly, and he doesn't like it. He's busy wracking his brain for all of the conversations he ever had with Axel, running into blocks of his memory he can't wrap his head around.] Funny, 'cause last time I saw Sora all I heard was that I'd be whole if I met him. So..it's not true?

[okay, so he definitely doesn't remember... talking about stuff. Which-- makes sense, of course. I mean, Axel was kind of dead both times. ...Whatever.]

From my point of view... That was kind of a while ago. A lot of stuff happened since then. But, I think-- I think, maybe back then, maybe it was needed. I dunno. I sure didn't think so. But you don't need Sora to be whole. I don't think you ever did. Back then, though... Sora needed you.

...how long is a while ago? [Sorry, Lea, he's ignoring all of that in favor of that fact.]

Uh... [he was dead a while, wasn't he? wow he sure has no actual idea.] Couple of months, maybe? I wasn't exactly counting the days or anything.

I'm missing a lot, aren't I. [It's more of a statement than a question, and it's probably for the best he hasn't put two and two together yet.]

[meanwhile Lea just realized maybe it's not that Roxas wasn't self-aware in Sora???? wow lea way 2 b slow. in his defense he was too busy going Roxas!!! mentally] ... Wait, what's the last thing you remember?

Um...we fought in that mansion and then I met that girl...Naminé. I met Naminé and then I found Sora, Donald and Goofy.

So you don't remember... [joining sora wow lea what a bad idea to start that sentence??] Nevermind, doesn't matter. You're missing some things, yeah, but the stuff I told you is pretty recent info for me too.

I mean I remember merging with Sora, but then I ended up here. [And he doesn't like that everyone suddenly knows more than he does. And he doesn't look too happy suddenly.] Riku knows things, too.

[he is very relieved Roxas remembers merging with Sora. that would have been so awkward.] Yeaaaah, Riku knows stuff, but that's because he was... well, there for most of it.

How come Riku was there? [Riku of all people...what.]

Leeeet's just say he kind of attracts attention wherever he goes.

[It doesn't even occur to him that it's that Axel wants to see him face to face, but he's definitely not opposed.]

[Man you're always going to be Axel, deal with it. Either way Roxas is literally in the middle of town sitting on a bench. He's sort of lost still. But he's getting a good sense of where he's going.] Okay. Not moving. I'll...see you soon. [But is he ready for that? Not that it matters because lbr Lea likes to ninja in when Roxas leasts expects it. Part of his charm and all.]

[Lea barely takes the time to turn off his phone before he's open one of those nifty darkness corridors and coming out the other side right in front of Roxas. he could've been right behind him ok he is restraining his creepy factor by like eleven. but yes, at first he just stands there staring a bit awkwardly, because the last time he saw Roxas face to face for real he tried to set him on fire and it only just hit him. Still, Lea is nothing if not really good at pretending he has done nothing wrong ever, so. Waves.]

[He doesn't have much time to register what's going on, really. One minute he's ending the call and the next there's an Axel..Lea...Leaxel in front of him. He doesn't say anything at first because the same thought seems to be crossing his mind. He gives an awkward wave back, but he doesn't quite get up yet. He's mostly trying to make sure he's not hallucinating or anything.]

...took you long enough. [It's a tentative joke, but he's trying.]

[lea is taking that as roxas expressing the fact that he is glad to see him and it's definitely time to pretend nothing dumb ever happened between them. :D yep. nothing at all. ever.]

I know, right? Instant travel just isn't what it used to be. [unfortunately for everyone involved, pretending everything is cool between them and always has been involves continuing terrible jokes.] Anyway... So, whaddya want to know? Specifically. I'll... I'll tell you everything, this time.

[except parts like "I died" or "I kidnapped a little girl" or really any part that makes him look bad because HAHAHAHAHA no.]
