So, I'm still new here so I thought I could ask.
If you can't contact somebody and you can't find them around the island, does that mean they've gone back home? Or something's happened to them? Or something else entirely?

No one really knows what happens to people who get "released"; no way to tell if the doctors are being truthful about them being let out into "the real world" or if something else happens. Hell, I've even seen the dead end up on a released list, so...
There you have it. Sorry it's shit.
no subject
Thank you, that is informative and appreciated.
I hope he's not dead. And he was only here a very little while.
no subject
I hope not, either. Take it from someone who has been there, it's not fun when someone you know is killed. Much better for them to be released, even if we don't really know what the fuck that even means.

I'm sorry for your loss.

["Long time ago" is pretty subjective, seeing as she recalls it happened just last February, but with the way people come and go on New Moore, Simon's death definitely doesn't feel recent or fresh in any sort of way.]

Anyway. My name is Dick Grayson, and all that you've 'said' is very much appreciated. Any way I can give anything back?
[Change of topic time!]

Nice to meet you. Mine is Alisha Bailey.
And if you can figure out a place to get a nice-sized cage for my roommate's cat, that would be brilliant.
no subject
Hi, Aisha!
Right. Cat cages. I think I can find somebody to help me out with making those, my roommate's cat can use one, too. Though they'll probably be both unhappy about it. The cat more so.
no subject
That'd be perfect. I don't want a repeat experience if all the animals go completely mental again... and I don't think Lydia does, either. I still have clawmarks on my legs.
Our roommates can deal.

I'll see what I can put together... or find from pet care places and reinforce, since I'll probably need somebody's permission to get materials to build one. How big is the cat?
no subject
Normal size, I guess. Hold on, I think there's a picture somewhere.
-----
There. Lydia has a ridiculous amount of pictures of her cat, I swear.
no subject
That is a pretty cat, though.
no subject
Yeah, she is. Would be prettier if she didn't shed all over my stuff.
no subject
Noted.
And, really. It's not the cat's fault. Though I've seen cats submit to getting vacuum-cleaned, don't know exactly how. That might help.

[Granted, after the bunny incident and Kitty going berserk, Alisha's been taking care not to get too close to any animal.]

Hard enough living with her without getting her worked up about her cat.

She's also a crazy cat lady, so Kitty is kind of a touchy subject.
Other than that, everything is peachy. And by that, I mean I try to get out as much as possible.
no subject
I mean. Shedding measures aside, where do you hang out, then? Still new, trying to learn about New Moore.
no subject
[Mostly because she has too many issue with not putting it away, and thus makes doubly sure that the cat stays on Lydia's half of the apartment.]
The hotel bar, mostly. But that's because I work there. My social life here is pretty shit though; it's not even a fraction of what it was like back home... so I'm not exactly sure I'm the best person to be asking "where to hang out".

What was it like back home?
