Everyone has a lot of plans to do a lot of things this plot, and Jackie C, one of our lovely mods, has given permission to set up a gathering place for all the logs people may want to do!

Here's how this works:

She doesn't know what feels worse: having her back to Lin, or feeling so uncomfortable having her back to Lin.

The artificial lights aren't preferred by Carol, but given the circumstances they are preferred. With her enhances senses she can see the faint changes in Lin's stance that signals how she is more comfortable in the blue glow of the florescent bulbs.

"Coulson's clean as far as I know, but other than that I'm not sure. Haven't heard from any of them. What about the department?"

"Coulson says he's clean, and I believe him. Otherwise he's down five officers, including the acting chief. Medical examiner got bitten by a corpse that wasn't quite dead. Coulson's running a containment campaign, but there are only so many cells. He's going to have to start finding other places soon."

Lin circled, frustrated by the instinctual hatred that kept flaring at Carol's presence. The heroine would have made an excellent addition to her coven, both in terms of abilities and personal connection. To find her already affected was one thing. To find her stolen by dogs was infuriating.

"I take it you haven't told him yet."

"Non-fictional too?"

She shakes her head "I haven't gotten a chance to really talk to him since it all happened."

Lin's circling causes Carol to start circling opposite her.

Lin nods a curt confirmation to the question. "It's not restricted to the fictional population. Rarely is. If you haven't talked to Coulson in person yet, I wouldn't. He'll probably want to lock you up too. I've only briefly spoken with him myself."

She notices the circling start up, but once it's started, she's hardly going to stop. Keeping a certain amount of space between them was the point, after all. If Carol stopped, she'd stop. Until then, she'd pace.
