[He was supposed to be working on getting things ready for the wedding. Only two weeks left, and planning it was not actually as easy as Ianto liked to make it seem. Which meant most of his recent time was spent moving from place to place with a folder under his arm, playing it off as TW:NM business. It was, in a way, but no. It was most assuredly wedding plans.

so he wasn't even paying attention to the space above the coffee shop counter when he stopped to grab himself a cup of fresh coffee for the long day ahead, full of thumbing through what passed for bridal magazines in New Moore. Did a Strider design this? It seemed like one must have. The colors hurt his eyes and he was fairly positive he had seen at least one puppet on a page already.

So it came as as much of a surprise to him as it likely did to Tim, when Ianto looked up to see him, and without even a second thought, leaned over the counter to kiss him full on the lips.

Quick. Someone distract Jack before he got jealous. Or worse. Suggested a threesome.]

Every month I've told the Post Office to hold this letter. If you're reading it, either I'm gone, or you're peeking.

If I disappeared, don't worry about me. Wherever we go after this place, there isn't anywhere that Kaname Madoka won't be looking out for me. She looks after all of us. It's what she wanted to do, and there's nothing that can stop her. Nothing.

If I became a witch, and I died, don't be sad for me. When I made my wish I knew what it meant. Everything I've gone through since then is worth it, and as long as I was stopped from hurting too many people here, I don't mind paying the price. It's a fate I accepted long ago. If I died without becoming a witch... it's sad, but it also helps keep people safe. I don't mind that, either. Neither should you.

Dave. Before I came to this island I thought I knew about time. Now I think the world is more mysterious than that. I'm exploring that mystery somewhere right now. Maybe we'll find each other again. In general, Tim's been avoiding the mistletoe by staying above it, but that's a strategy that he can only continue for so long. Back from a lightning-speed rooftop patrol, he's letting himself into the old guan - aka Titans headquarters - when he sees an infestation by the other door, and heads over to cut it down before anyone else comes to check in.

[They'd all both been overworking themselves again, with everything that had been going on recently. Koizumi was coming to the end of another doubleshift, and both Lin and Sheska had arrived before he had that morning. After finally managing to wrangle a promise out of Lin that she'd go home within the hour (he'd been very specific about the wording), he finished up some last-minute paperwork before getting ready to leave himself.

He almost didn't see Sheska on his way out, as tired as he was and as quiet as she was being. Luckily the scribble of pen on paper drew his attention, and he found her bent over her desk, exhausted, oblivious to anything but the work in front of her. Moving behind her, he gently put his hands on her shoulders, trying not to startle her.] Come on, Sheska. It's time to go home.

It's fortunate that there are more than a few less-travelled trails through the city to Aisling's forest, and more fortunate still that there's so little human traffic just after sunrise on Christmas Eve, meaning Ukraine can make her way freely to the edge without anxiously skirting sidewalk trees and lamp posts that could potentially carry the mistletoe of awkward situations. One arm is laden with her trademark basket of homemade gifts, cookies and braided bread and bowls of honey porridge, and the other is wrapped around a more traditional-looking Christmas present wrapped with red paper and white ribbon -- it would be hard to make a quick getaway so bogged down.

Once she reaches the forest, she rests her parcels against one of the trees, then sets a fat little white candle down on some stones, the better not to accidentally set anything on fire, and lights it with a smile.

"Aisling?" she calls softly. "It's Ukraine, dear. I've brought your presents, if you like."
