So I was right-- my entire life really is one big joke. Man, do you have any idea-- is forensics even a thing in the "real world"!? There's no way I studied my ass off for years just so I could learn it was all made up. God... doesn't this count as "cruel and unusual"!?

[Probably a familiar sight-- a newly "realized" character rants his dissheveled little head off about the predicament he's found himself in. He looks like he could go on and on, actually, but he stops short and just sighs impotently.]

A real detective has to fill out three forms just to get a search warrant. I actually kind of think it's the opposite-- real detectives doubt their choice in occupation every day. Someone oughtta put a disclaimer on all those crime shows.
