My admittedly limited study of troll courtship suggests they are no less monogamous than what is typical to humans, simply within each individual quadrant.
So it sounds like you're looking for resolution on a relationship that was never fully defined before moving forward.
Which, yeah, is both noble and dumb.
Good call, there.

Jesus Christ.
If I weren't digital I'd have to change my panties right about now.
Was this Terezi among those who received the most high offering of a sacrificial Strider?

Hm.
That clarifies your assertion that she is "batshit insane and scary as fuck".
It also bring into question whether or not your affection for her isn't a bit Stockholm's.

I don't know the situation so it is difficult to ascertain the level of her guilt or sociopathy.
But from a purely philosophical perspective.
The argument that she only intentionally made choices that resulted in your death once is a poor statement to ever have to make about anyone you're in a relationship with.
At least a red one.
Even more so when you aren't actually in a relationship with her, just putting all other relationships on hold to see if something that happened years ago still has meaning.

I'm going to have to write all new algorithms to determine if your infatuation with women who kill you is better or worse than DS's suicidal tendencies.
But first I need further information.
Any other femme fatales in your life, bro?

Good, I guess.
The fact that you've died for a meager three people, I mean.
Not your continued disdain for incest.

Did he die?
And it is likely up to you to determine whether or not he counts.

Everyone dies eventually.
And yes.
It's statistically accurate that being an offshoot of a 'real' Strider is rarely a good omen.
Though, also statically.
If you are looking to have a life free of nonshitty things, being a Strider in general is probably not the ideal path to walk.
Fortunately we are so awesome in every other way that I like to believe the scales settle in our favor.

I notice they seem to be contention.
And that would explain why.
Does he regret his choice?

If you're certain you wouldn't, I find it unlikely he does either.
You are still essentially the same person.
Inasmuch as he can only be whoever you would be had events in your life gone differently.
But it's a fallacy to believe that not regretting a choice is synonymous with having no regrets.
Sometimes you're going to wish things were different even if you have only ever made the 'right' choices.

He is not a physical danger to himself, if that is your concern.
