Like really am? Really-really? I got the entire you're-fictional bit but I'm going to keep my skeptical mindset about that one for a while and skip questioning that and go right to what planet are we on? Where on what planet? You can't be too sure these days. And the year? -Is The Doctor here?

[As per usual for when he forgets something obvious, he hits himself in the forehead with the palm of his hand.] Right, of course.

[Moments later, the TARDIS materializes beside her.]

[ She sat and waited right there like he said.
Immediately knocks on the door ]

Are there two of these here if there's two of you?

[The Doctor bursts out of the door, takes several moments staring at her as he processing that she's actually here, then envelops her in a huge and very enthusiastic bear hug.]

That's an interesting question, actually. This time, the simple answer is no. But there were three of me before, and then there were two of her.

[ Hug? Hug. She'll hug him back -all smiles. Thank goodness. ]

Three of you at once? --Two of who?

Two of the TARDIS.

Yeah, three at once - it was sort of a mess. It didn't last long - though so far there has always been at least one other me here while I've been here.

Do they look the same?

A third you didn't bring a third her? Odd of you to come without her. Do you get along with yourself?

I think it was just a matter of him not being inside the TARDIS when he was brought here.

How do you get brought here? Do you know that?

It's because he doesn't like your bowtie, isn't it?

Oh, I've got a few ideas... [No he doesn't, he just doesn't want to admit it.]

I don't understand why he doesn't like it. Bowties are cool!

Maybe he's jealous. He can't wear a bowtie. It'd look funny on him.

Well... [Damn, now he has to come up with something.] There are devices that can move through dimensional faults, but I've never seen one used as a weapon, or one powerful enough to force the TARDIS through when she didn't want to.

I've got plenty of ideas, but none of them are terribly probable, and there's not exactly a way to test them.

With all that leather, yeah. Wouldn't be very stylish!

[ did he just think that up because she asked? squints at him ] Unless she wanted to? Would she want to? Maybe something's here and she wanted to seek it out? Yeah-? No? I'm way off, aren't I?

No, she didn't want to be here anymore than I did. We're trapped on an island, cut off from the rest of time and the rest of the universe. After a thousand years with all of time and space as your backyard, imagine how she feels with a couple cubic miles.

[Enthusiastically -] I'm always about being stylish!

[ looks him up and down. amused smile ] Is that right?

Exactly right. I can't take her anywhere! And I'm sure she gets bored and lonely, with nothing to do and nobody but me for company.

Of course it is! Isn't it obvious?

Speaking of the TARDIS... if you want, I still have a room set aside for you.

[He raises his arms in gesture, almost defensively.] If you'd rather live in the apartments, though, I completely understand!

[You get the feeling that the TARDIS may not be the only one who's been getting lonely recently.]

Oh.. Yeah. Loads obvious. [ weirdest fashion sense ever though amirite? ]

[ She eyes him, thoughtfully then focuses on the TARDIS. Like she's debating it in her head. She said no before because he was a stranger pretty much, she had a life still, and kids to look after etc... Wednesdays were better.
Those probably don't apply here. ]

Is it a room near a toilet that she's not going to change the location of every morning for a laugh?

[ She shifts a little bit and holds her hands together ] Hm. I suppose I should go check out the apartment they gave me first and let the roommate they assigned me know she gets to use all of the space.

[He looks almost surprised by her affirmative response, but it soon turned to relief and obvious happiness.] What?

[He looks startled, like he hadn't even thought of it.] You haven't gotten a proper tour yet? I would have thought...

[Then he gives her a wide smile.] Well, that's something we'll just have to fix, then, won't we?
