New Moore 103rd Homecoming Ball

Who: Everyone.
What: The fancy anniversary/homecoming ball.
When: Saturday evening, November 9th.
Where: Four Saison's Ballroom.



[ You made it to the ball. Presumably, you will have an awesome time and/or be completely miserable.

Through the doors is a giant dancefloor, with a small orchestra on stage. They're playing beautiful music and later in the evening they'll be replaced with a DJ who will then pump up some sick beats. You can be like hot damn that's my jam.

This ball is full of fancy decorations, fine dining, dancing of all sorts, alcohol??, tears, everyone trying to look their best, and Dinkerton wearing a golden crown and high-fiving a crowned Coulson. The tables are circling the dance floor if you're going to sit down the entire time or you need to eat that food. ]

[ He tilts his head a little to motion around ]

You know if you actually showed up to school, Mister Todd, they'd let you use all of these for free.

[Jason clenches his jaw a little but otherwise doesn't change his expression. He's still not sure how the hell the people on this island figured out his name when no one even knew he was alive back home, but he'd get other chances to be mad about it -- some time when he wasn't facing down high school guidance counselors. Who, clearly, had some serious training in covert ops.]

Never been all that into parties. [Pause.] Or school.

[ He's just folding his hands and keeping a completely calm demeanor. This is a typical situation. Why does he always have to convince the kids here to go to school? Or to get the guy not to blow up the department store. Sigh. ]

And half Earth was never all that into work but they all do it anyway. You might not have a choice in the matter.
