I just really can't believe you don't know what nations are! It's not really that hard of a concept to grasp, though.
Anyway!
The dominant species on Earth is the humans. There's a lot of them. But there might be more roaches. Not really sure on that one but apparently should the world end, they'd be the sole survivors!
So these humans are really cliquey and they live in groups based on common language, culture, or geographical location. Sometimes it's all three, sometimes it's not.
These groups are bound together by specific international borders and a government. Which, yanno, governs.
Anyway, all of this more or less is what encompasses the existence of nations. They're the personification of the people they represent and it's their job to take care of their people.
To be honest... some of them kind of suck.
Like, a lot.
Then of course, everyone sucks in comparison to me! Believe me when I say that I'm the greatest nation in the history of humanity.
There have been a lot of nations, too. But none of them can compare to the accomplishments that I've had!
Which, by the way, includes unifying hundreds of kingdoms under my leadership.
