Ok! Here is the post for collecting all your kissing logs! If you want to do individual Network posts and then lead in to kissing that way, that's fine, but if you're looking to do a straight up log, this is the place to do it. That way we don't flood the community with all the log posts.

[mischief was his thing. besides, some petty, possibly cathartic pranks were far better than something that may grow and become malicious in the future. he knew where his place, and he knew what he was, and there were some things that simply couldn't be erased with his memories—and that was his love for mischief.]

Did you punch them?

[he looks all too curious to hear the answer to that one.

wait.

was this a date?]

[Who even knows if this is a date. She certainly doesn't. The answer won't be clear until they actually try to face or discuss the fact that they just had a rather romantic moment back there, and there's still physical evidence.]

Did I punch Eridan? Not yet. I think I am the only one who hasn't! But did I punch anyone ever? Oh yes.

Remind me not to cross you, I rather like not being punched.

[yes, he still has lipstick all over his face, what is the world coming to?]

It's not my fist you should worry about!

[As if to prove her point she punches him lightly, really not much more than a tap to his shoulder. She could hit a little harder, maybe, fuck someone up if she took them by surprise, but she's never been a physical fighter, and in a fight of nothing but fists, she'd definitely lose.]

Yes, I remember. That other thing that you can do with your mind.

[he rubs his shoulder, even though it didn't really hurt. it was light and his skin was pretty thick being an Asgardian, but the thought about being punched by anyone wasn't too pleasant. he had been punched a lot. people weren't kind in Asgardia during the holidays.]

Though the movie part was quite nice.

[Oh yeah. That time she pinned him down and sat on him. She has the grace to look slightly abashed and embarrassed, her face just slightly dusky red.]

Ah, yes. Sorry. I wanted to make sure you were paying attention.

I couldn't not pay attention if I tried.

[he brings a hand to his chin, rolling back on his heels again.]

I don't even remember what the movie was about. You're quite tricky.

Yes, that was the point.

[This time she pushes him forward, playfully, with a careful eye not to throw him off balance.]

But I'm glad you think so! I do try to keep up with you.

[he makes a show of possibly being thrown off balance, though it's hard to tell if he's faking or not. but whatever it is, he manages to catch himself again. he pauses, and then huffs.]

I'm willing to be honest with you. I want to try.

However you do understand that it could bring repercussions against yourself. Getting involved with me brings them by default. I am Loki, and I have a very Loki way of doing things. I would rather you not get hurt because of who I am, that seems to happen a lot, too.

[Oh, Loki. He always knows the right thing to say to tug at her heartstrings. If it didn't sound so terribly earnest she would say he did it on purpose, to gain her sympathies, but judging from the actual evidence she can't bring herself to believe it's anything but true. Despite what he keeps saying, she still trusts him.]

I'm more durable than you seem to think. [This time she doesn't push; she wraps her arms around his waist from behind lightly, and hugs.] And I have some tricks you don't know about, yet, though I hope to not have to use them. I would say you run a risk, too, but my problems can't follow me here the way yours can follow you. [She pauses, and then goes up on her tip toes to brace herself against his shoulder, leaning over it to talk.] If you worry so much, the honesty will help. So I at least know what the repercussions will be.

[and there was no mistletoe around this time. it's still strange. still something he needs to adjust himself to. there's arms around his shoulders, hanging at his collar, and he doesn't move to untangle her. even though he had thought himself done, and the game over, there was still a long road ahead of him. he didn't want to say that he wasn't scared. he was terrified. there were people who liked him, who wanted to spend time with him, but in the end he had betrayed others like them not for his own selfishness, but because he couldn't bear the thought of being the one to hurt them.]

[as for her problems, she's made a very powerful ally.]

[She laughs, squeezes again and lets him go. It's easier than she thought it would be, to touch him, and she knows she's not imagining that it's kind of nice to wrap her arms around somebody so solid. The one thing she'd always liked about Equius, without complications.]

Yes, the ultimate torture. No one can ever resist.

[for being so short, and looking a bit skinny and gangling, he was oddly solid. not to any Asgardian (and definitely not in comparison to his flying brother), but to the others he seemed very thick-skinned.]

I'm going to get sat on a lot, aren't I?

That all depends on whether or not you do something to deserve it.

Somehow it always feels as if I do something to deserve it.

[Is that serious? She can't tell, if it's meant to be bitter and self pitying or if he's trying to tease her.]

Well. We'll see, won't we? [Testing it out, fishing for some context.] I thought once might be pretty effective.

[though he has to say that he usually does. it's a bit more like a fact then meant to be much else. there are times it seems to happen to him and he doesn't deserve it, either. though that could just come with being Loki.]

We have a very adventurous endeavor ahead of us.

[he opens his mouth to reply to her again, but when he brings down his hand he notices, uh, lipstick on his glove. what is that?]

[Oh, Loki. She rolls her eyes when she sees him finally catch on, and digs out her Kleenex to offer it to him, already covered in red from her cleaning expedition.]

Oh yes, by the way, you have lipstick on your face, and you have for awhile.

You didn't tell me?

I thought you would notice eventually!

[well, that was almost endearing. he stops for a moment and plays with the tissue between his fingers. there goes the last remnants of their kiss. and he wipes his face, trying to get all the red lipstick. he opens his mouth to say something again, but he stops.]

... Erm, tell me next time.

[Biting her lip so as not to laugh, she reaches up and wipes away a spot he missed with the pad of her thumb, very carefully. All the evidence that it ever happened is on her tissues, and his gloves, and hers.

Next time, he said.]

Well next time I'll try to find a way to apply it so it doesn't rub off like that. But all right, I will. [She pauses, weighing whether or not she should say it, but-] I thought it was kind of cute.

[something catches in his throat and he's unsure of how to respond. bad boy or cute? which was preferable? she seemed fond of him, and didn't say anything about the strategically placed "next time."]

... If cute is good, I can be cute. But I'm also very cool, you see. So don't forget that part.

[One should never assume that someone cannot be both a bad boy and cute, though maybe not both at the same time.

Her hand brushes against his cheek, only a bit shy.]

I can't imagine that I could ever forget how cool you are.

[and there's no sharp response coming from her, and there's no need to defend himself or shoot something back. and here it was, on the tip of his tongue.]

And I was almost thinking of a way to remind you. So much for that plan.
