Ok! Here is the post for collecting all your kissing logs! If you want to do individual Network posts and then lead in to kissing that way, that's fine, but if you're looking to do a straight up log, this is the place to do it. That way we don't flood the community with all the log posts.

"O-oh! Ah, y-yes, we have." Why couldn't she move? Why was he here and why was he looking at... oh. Ohhhh no. She'd seen other people kissing under these plants all day. Some small, quiet portion of her mind asked wistfully if it would really be that bad, but she was too far into nervous flutter mode to be paying much attention. "I-I'm dreadfully sorry, I didn't mean t-to bump into you, are you hurt? Um..." She bites her lip, trying not to stare. He was awfully handsome. She could feel her ears burning and her cheeks growing pinker by the moment.

"Not at all."

Wasn't she adorable. Somehow that made the situation a bit less awkward, her innocent openness making it easier on him. This didn't have to be a big thing, after all, it wasn't as if this was his first kiss. Not even his first amnesiac kiss.

"We seem to have a situation at hand."

He pointed up to the mistletoe and raised an eyebrow.

"Did you run into one of those yet?"

"N-not personally?" Sheska mentally cursed her voice for rising half an octave on that last syllable, and cleared her throat, trying to get it back into a more normal range. "I've, ah, I've seen other... people...." She trailed off unhelpfully. She always got so tongue-tied around people. Especially attractive people. "I'm really, very sorry. I didn't mean to impose! I didn't even see it, and then there you were and-" No. No babbling. Stop that.

Sirius laughed at her babbling, giving a light shake of his head and putting a hand on her shoulder.

"Hey. Hey. It's alright, love. These things happen around here."

He caught her eyes and smiled, touching her cheek lightly.

"Give me a smile? What's your name?"

Oh sweet stars and shades, this was actually happening. Her first kiss... Well, that she could remember, and surely these butterflies meant that it was her first time ever? Or was she a stronger person normally? ...That didn't really bear thinking about did it. She wrenched herself back to the present and chewed her lip a little before trying a shy smile and taking refuge in etiquette. "Oh, I'm sorry, that's terribly rude of me. I'm Sheska. Pleased to meet you, Mr. Padfoot, wasn't it?"

Sirius put a hand on her hip, smiling slightly as he curled his fingers around it. He listened to her and nodded.

"Just Padfoot, please. Sounds even more odd when you put a Mr. in front of it. It's very nice to meet you, Sheska, even under the circumstances."

He grinned and winked at her.

"With you, perhaps even especially under the circumstances."

She was very aware of his proximity all of a sudden. "O-oh, really, I'm... I'm nothing special..." She trailed off, ducking her head a little and smiling more warmly. He was so charming. Sheska tentatively put her hand on his arm, stroking lightly with trembling fingers. "I wish I could be sure this would be enjoyable for you." she murmured, more to herself than aloud.

"I'll just have to make sure there can be no doubts about that."

With that he pulled her flush against himself and leaned down to cover her mouth with his and kiss her. A real kiss, a deep kiss, a dipping her over and making her world spin kiss.

It lasted a good while, too, because with the magic of the mistletoe, he didn't necessarily want to stop. By the time he did pull back, still holding her in his arms, he was out of breath, but smiling.

"I think that was enjoyable. Very much so."

She swayed a little when he swung her upright, clutching at his sleeve to keep her balance. Her head was still in a whirl, and she was sure she hadn't ever experienced anything like that before. It was glorious. Stars bursting, and flying, and a library of old books, glorious. Magic and legends come to life, glorious. And she hadn't even remembered to close her eyes at first. For the first time all day, she was relaxed. No longer in a constant state of nervous fright that she was going to do something wrong or anger someone. All was right with the world.

Her fingers drifted up to touch her lips, a soft laugh of wonder escaping their grasp.

At the very least, she seemed to be very happy. Which was part of the reason for the whole exercise, so Sirius smiled and reached out to tuck a strand of hair behind her ear. He wasn't generally one to worry much about consequences and having no memories didn't exactly help with that flaw of character, so he wasn't overly worried about the effect his behavior might have on her.

"Did you enjoy it, Sheska?"

It's a sign of how over-the-moon she is that Sheska doesn't even flinch away from the unexpected touch, and she couldn't stop smiling while she tried to pull her attention back around to the present. "Oh, yes... Yes I did. Thank you." She can't help but laugh a little, saying, "I wouldn't be surprised if I'd become a beautiful princess on the strength of that kiss."

"No, thank you!" Wasn't she precious. Sirius almost wanted to just kiss her again, but he figured that might be taking things a bit far. So instead he just shook his head. "I don't think I'm much of a prince."

Not that he knew right now. He did know how to sell a good line, though. "And you already are a beautiful princess. It didn't need a kiss for that."

About to earnestly tell him how much like a prince he seemed to her, the second sentence caught her off-guard and she lost whatever she'd been saying. A noise of shocked disbelief escapes her and she raises her hands as though to ward off the compliment. "O-oh, no, r-really, that's not--" She could feel her face heating, rapidly reddening to a rather unflattering shade. She buried her face in her hands with a muffled "Oh no. I-I really ought to let you get on with your day. Thank you for being so kind about all of this. I hope you have a good afternoon..." And with that, she hitched her bag higher up on her shoulder, ducked something that resembled a curtsy, and edged past him to dash off and dodge up the library steps - at least she could hide in the stacks in there, and leave him to get along with his day. Surely there was someone waiting for him.

"Have a nice day, princess!"

Sirius called after her, a bit bemused by the whole encounter.

But it sure had been a nice kiss.
