I am glad that most of that nonsense is over. I hope there is none of it in this coming year.

I need to prepare for the Epiphany; it is unusual to do it without Sister.

2.
It's been an interesting year.

The world is a very strange place, and I'm not just talking about this one.  I come from a city filled with maniacs and criminals, where the news claims that aliens and gods have fought civil wars.  My roommate comes from a place where countries are people.  Looking on the network, I've seen aliens, time travelers, humans from worlds so different from ours that they're unrecognizable... walking around town, I've even seen a dinosaur and a giant teddy bear.

Looks like you guys come from some pretty strange places too.  And I think nothing could be stranger than all the different places that we come from... except buying the idea that they aren't real.  A place like this, filling with people from all other worlds, full of some strange force that keeps manipulating events... it's got to mean something.

What we do here matters.  What we learn here matters.  I want to understand what makes this place tick, what's really happening, how and why we all came here.  I think it all matters, and what we do next is going to matter too.

My New Year's resolution is to spend next Christmas at home in Gotham City with my brothers.

How about you?

I wanted to post this so I didn't forget.

Happy New Year, everyone.

A lot of things have happened (some more that were really hard to accept, and still are), but there's a lot of people I'm glad I met.

Let's keep moving forward.

[the audio starts abruptly and all that can be heard is the sound of a person breathing heavily, as if they had been walking for hours. To be fair, that's what has happened here. To be even fairer, there was no reason for it.]

To whoever... has managed to obtain this... I must warn you of something terrible...!!! I was caught... because of my own carelessness... and am now facing... the consequences...

Please... if you hear this...heed my warning!! And don't wait... three hours... in line... for a new Famicon... it won't come-!

[suddenly, the audio ends. it's probably for the best]
