We upon the Allegra have made landfall, but have yet to officially disembark. Our supply rations have run dangerously low in this time, and the rest of the crew is beginning to stir with restlessness. More than beginning, it is a certainty. However, I believe our current position in remaining shipbound lies in that Captain Holmes himself does not wish to go to land. I hardly think that the threat of Commodore Shepard is enough to keep him off land, however, the presence of the fleet of his elder brother Mycroft, may be a likelier suspect. While generally not too much of a problem, the odds that the two have been fighting at either end of for ages as feral beasts might brawl over a marked territory does present itself in this way. Mycroft has not so much offered a threat, not directly to us of course, as he is merely threatening by presence. Captain Holmes, however, would rather his actions be defiant for the sake of childish defiance than a noble rebellion against the merchant captain.
Perhaps with some persuading, the Captain may yield to our requests for food, water, and munitions, as he has always held me to a certain level of esteem above nearly all others, even before I was in league with he and his crew.
