I thought I’d start by saying this is going to sound kind of weird but then, I remembered this is New Moore so…

Is there anyone here who maybe knows something about wards? Magical. Not ya know, the sick people in Hospit- Never mind. I'm looking for a...Um. Ghosts. I'm not looking for them exactly I'm looking to keep them away. Far, far away. Or just away enough so I can....

[A moment later.]

Yeah... there really was no way to make that not sound crazy was there?

WHO: Hawkeye, Red Robin, and Batgirl
WHAT: Red Robin introduces his new girlfriend to his old one so they can plot superhero things and be awkward, possibly.
WHEN: Not too long after Lydia's party, late at night / early morning.
WHERE: Rooftops of New Moore.

Hawkeye is tapping her foot, impatiently, arms crossed. She had expected Tim to be annoyingly early, and yet, here she is, the first one at the set meeting place.

She should have insisted they come here together. She's not very good at waiting.

So. Batgirl, huh. She had considered making fun of the name, but hell, she calls herself Hawkeye, and it's not even like she came up with the name herself--she took it from someone else. Well. Was given it. Still, not hers. She can't really fault someone for "Batgirl", I mean, at least that girl probably came up with it on her own.

She starts drumming her fingers against her crossed arms now. She's been on edge since the party, wondering what kind of person would take advantage of someone as obviously vulnerable as Lydia -- no matter how Lydia tries to deny it, there's something that girl needs to tell someone, even if that someone isn't Kate. It pisses her off. She doesn't like people going after her friends.

That thought just reminds her of her hallucinations.

Maybe she really should go to therapy. Not the I'm-spying-on-Dr.-Crane kind, but maybe those people at the hospital have someone she can talk to. At the party she saw nothing but the people she loved, dying, over and over again, unable to stop it.

Cassie, in the midst of it all, dying a hundred different ways.

She shudders, but not from the cold.

Tim had better get here quick.

WHO: New Moore's Young Avengers! Hawkeye has called to arms Iron Lad, Loki, ~~*~* WOLFMAN**~~, Hulkling, Wiccan, Speed, X-23, and ~*SISTER GRIMM.
WHAT: It's time to have a full meeting of the team that has begun to form here on the island, and to discuss the hallucinogens at Lydia's party... Loki, however, has some other ideas of what needs to be on the docket.
WHEN: During the day?
WHERE: An abandoned warehouse that Nate has commandeered for sole Young Avengers use.

Kate makes sure she gets to the appointed meeting place first. She wants to mentally prepare herself for what she's about to say -- that there's a threat (okay, they've probably all realized that since they were pretty much all at Lydia's party), but mostly that she's been working with some other superheroes to figure out what's going on. She should have kept the others in the loop, really, but okay, it feels a little weird when you can't reveal that Red Robin is really your boyfriend. She's sure one day that Tim will be okay with that, but the day is not today, and she respects that. Also, while most everyone else is used to the idea of heroing, the idea of heroing as a team might be new to Scott, and she hasn't wanted to overwhelm him. It's pretty new to Loki too, she's sure.

But it's time to take action.

Kate takes a mental inventory of everything that's on the agenda for the meeting -- Red Robin and Batgirl, Dr. Crane, the plan to go under cover in therapy. But most importantly, letting everyone know that they are the Young Avengers, that this is a team, should they want to be a part of it.

Yeah. Definitely the most important part.

[Creedy gives the camera a crooked grin, patting his hand almost affectionately on the keg beside him.]

Conrad, No offense on ya, mate. Your alcohol is well and fine for a tame man's tastes, but this here beauty is damn near impossible to beat. I think I'll be callin' it Northumberland Dragonsbreath. Finest... well... don't rightly have a  type of alcohol to call it, but it'll certainly put a dimmer on anythin' you've 'ad before it. Me 'n Quinn 'ave been drinking my special black lable for years and we're still standin'. Well. He is. I'm still not so sure about the whole livin thing.

Well. It could use another week, but here's to you, New Moore. Wherever the fuck this is and whoever is responsible for it. Appreciate the not bein' dead bit.

[He taps out a fifth a glass and takes a gulp. To his credit, the grimace is only barely visible a second when it burns the whole way down and he manages to hold his cough, even if it sounds in the slight rasp his voice takes on.]

Doesn' get better than this.

[Do not take his word for it. Seriously. For your own safety. In the functioning world this deadly spirit is called Pruno or prison wine. It's made of moldy fruit and ketchup and distilled to near 160% proof in a manner of days. Two weeks to prime. It will burn you the whole way down and sink in hard and fast. But if you're clever and tip it back fast enough to keep it from touching your throat too much, or your tongue, you might avoid the taste and the fire that follows it.]

Now all I need is a steel barrel.

[And another five or so days to age it. But who's counting, really?]
