Um, how binding are ballpit rules? Can one of us take her? Like at the risk of sounding like I'm turning into my mom we've got to break her out or something, right?

The release list was finalized earlier than usual. If only some of my officers would get off the inter net and back to work! That goes double for you, O'Toole! There'd better be a full page on that report by the time I'm done with this!

For those of you who are new, those of us designated as fictional are subject to "releases", where a person can be selected - by criteria we haven't pinned down yet - to be removed from the island. What exactly that means is unknown, though the government heavily implies that those persons are deemed worthy of being mixed into the greater population outside this island. People who are released rarely return, though there are examples of it. Only one person has ever reported remembering the last time they were here. There's never any sign of struggle or foul play, and nothing enabling us to track the source of the phenomenon. We're looking into it.
