What can everyone tell me about Lydia Bennet? The more I know, the the more likely it is I will be able to find her, and the faster I will do so.

Victor, your input here would be invaluable.

[ irene has been laying low since the whole 'pirate' incident. after all, it's a bit .. disconcerting to discover yourself in a world you thought was real and then find out later it was all just a farce. more than that, she'd been stuck on his ship. of all the ridiculous things that could have happened, honestly. but now, she had something to say. ]
I've never been a fan of carnivals, really. I suppose they're meant to be fun, but in a place where people can't leave -- how can a carnival suddenly appear?
Additionally, does anyone else feel a bit .. old to suddenly find themselves with a flatmate? I prefer to live alone.
[ translation? she has been poking around the carnival and it's too weird for her, sorry. and ew, flatmates. ]

Tim Drake

Who: Tim Drake & Cass Cain, possibly Tim Drake and... whoever else wants to tag into this? Plurk me and we'll plot.
What: Batkids have unfair advantages at a carnival, but maybe not a haunted one.
When: The evening of October 11th.

Carnivals weren't always Tim's idea of a good time, but the spike in government activity before this one appeared meant it was probably significant, in one way or another, and he wasn't likely to find out why by sitting back on the sidelines.  He was halfway through a text message to Dick before he realized what he was doing and erased it.

No, he wasn't going to bring Dick into this without knowing how he felt about it first.  Poking around someplace like this could be fun for his brother... or it could be like poking an open wound.  If he saw Dick there, he'd bring him in, but in the meantime he needed to bring someone else in for his exploration.

Looking downhill at the fairgrounds, he snapped a picture and sent it as a picture message to Cass, along with a subject line: Meet me in 15?

[The little Irish girl on the other end sounds incensed. Might be good to stay out of the forest tonight, boys and girls.]

They're hurting them! For sport! This isn't a hunt. This isn't killing a diseased thing so that it doesn't spread. This is wrong.
