This final is foolish and a waste of time. What do they really expect us to learn from wandering around in a cave? If they were here, I would imagine the Hitachiin brothers would have loved this idea. As far as I am concerned, a job fair would be a much better use of our time. At least then we could be creating new contacts and getting our feet in the door. If I am going to be forced to stay on this island, I would hope the education system would at least be focused on acclimating students to this alleged real life this island is supposed to prepare us for. Or are they suggesting the real life entails leading stumbling lower class students through a dark cave to build the spirit of teamwork? The real world is not about hand-holding or helping others along with no foreseeable benefit, and duping younger students into believing that is not only a waste of time, it is potentially harmful to their future.
I understand recreation is good for us, but competitive sports in school serve this purpose and are a much better showcase of talent. Even festivals like the ones we held at Ouran were a showcase of student's capabilities and connections. This trip is little more than attempting to weed out which students are afraid of the dark and which ones aren't.
