While most of you are recovering from the aftermath of the latest battle, I'd like to remind everyone and inform newcomers of my support group, Progressing Post-Mortem. We don't look for answers, and we don't play blame games. It's just a place to gather together under a common cause and connect with people.

Considering how traumatized some of you seem to be regarding life, death and the in-between lately, I want to stress again that I'm not an expert. I'm just curious. I didn't ask to run this group, and I don't have any more knowledge about why we're still here if we died back home. But I think our little club does a good job of fostering a sense of safety to talk about sensitive issues.

If you'd like to join, we meet every other Wednesday at 6 p.m. in my apartment, East 204. Now that Shinjiro's gone, it might be nice if people brought food. There's only so much fish stew a guy can make.

Especially since my last boat was sunk.

Thanks for that, by the way.

I have been asked to make a statement concerning the confusion of the past week.

We ask for your cooperation in this confusing time; while the New Moore Police Department works to repair the damages from this unfortunate event. It is not the policy of the NMPD to discuss the ongoing investigation into the use of this as of yet unidentified hallucinogenic. It is at this time we feel it necessary to remind the public that New Moore does not support vigilante justice. Any actions viewed as such may result in the detaining and questioning of those involved.

Due to the nature of this event, no one has yet been deemed responsible for the events that transpired, be they real or imagined. No lives were permanently lost and New Moore will repair all damages caused by the incident. Any actions taken toward individuals under the perceived sense of justice for imagined crimes will be in direct contempt of this statement. Persons involved will be brought in for questioning as deemed necessary for the safety of New Moore and held for observation until such time as they are deemed safe to the public.

Thank you for your attention and cooperation,
Police Chief Thomas Kreise

Ryoji, if the rabbits are getting in your way, I can take a few of them off your hands. Maybe we can find them new homes together this weekend?

OK, New Moore. I was kind of hoping I wouldn't have to resort to drastic measures, mainly because I have a strict policy of resorting to measures of the lowest severity possible - or even no measures at all - but it's become very clear to me in the last few days that if I intend to live long enough to experience a mid-life crisis and the long-standing sense of bitterness one typically acquires along with it, I'll have to make an exception.

So, um ... who's the best person to talk to about getting a restraining order around here? Normally, I'd ask my mother, but she isn't here.
