What is the meaning of life? I've always found that to be an irrelevant question. The basic conditions of life are different for all people, and so you would get a different answer depending on who you asked. A normal high school student would tell you one thing, whereas someone living in a different time, like the future, would have an answer so different you might not even understand it. There are some people I know who would say that the purpose of life is excitement and constant change, which I find to be a totally frivolous answer not worth consideration. But I will admit that the answer is subjective, and probably not something the human mind can really understand. Even some sort of omniscient being made of information might have trouble expressing it.
In any case, I woke up this morning in a hospital where I was informed by doctors with a questionable bedside manner that I did not exist. It's really rather irritating to realize, but it looks as though I may have been transported in my sleep to a different world. This may not be an unprecedented sort of occurrence, but usually there's a little more narrative coherence to it, and the aggravating person presumed to be responsible for that sort of plot twist is around. In this case, I'm not really sure. I suppose, looking at the improbable events in my life, this explanation might actually make more sense, but having seen fictional worlds before, they were much more believable than this iteration of the "real" world!
