It is of interest to me that despite their cosmic insignificance, humans attach such great importance to their individual presence in the universe.  Perhaps it's inevitable that every thinking creature must look inward instead of outward, however, the behavior of certain other species suggests that the human race carries this trait to an extreme.

In any case, while the perpetuation of my own existence is only of mild interest and personal importance, I would still like to take this opportunity to invite all of my classmates to attend my birthday party, this Thursday after school.

I also have a further request.

If someone would be willing to advise me on the mechanics and social necessities of hosting such a party, it would be appreciated.

Looks like the text malfunction dilemma can be scraped off the list of things that needs fixing.
I'm sure everyone would be glad to hear that.
Anyways, since Dave's phone kept him from saying much, he had some issues with it.
Now it seems he won't be saying any thing at all for a while.
So if you stop hearing from him no need to panic.
That's all.

[ aka dirk broke dave's phone but no way he's gonna say it straight. ]

Soo we're in a bubble. On an island. Let me guess. The base of this island is on a giant turtle? It's good to know reality is just as ridiculous as fiction. Actually, no. I was already pretty certain of that to begin with.

[The Doctor (not locked to a specific one because what?)]

What good is a time machine that doesn't travel in time and can't even get off a tiny island?

Who: Tony & Bruce
When: After JARVIS' attack
Where: Retro arcade
What: Totally not a date okay
Warnings: None

Technology taking over had always been a popular theme in sci-fi, but Bruce had never thought he'd live to see it actually happen. So after JARVIS went rogue and caused not only Dummy and Helper to attack the Avengers, but the Iron Man armor as well; he was completely open to getting back to his roots. Tony had stumbled across an arcade full of the old video games of their youth and casually mentioned that it would be a good getaway from the tower. Bruce suspected ulterior motives but agreed anyways, because it sounded so completely normal, and he liked normal.

"I think we're the oldest people here," Bruce pointed out with a laugh as they battled the spawn of a familiar green dragon in an attempt to save a certain princess who was not even in that particular castle.
