Alright, students. I expect that you have all managed to read at least the first four chapters of The Once and Future King, and as such, I have a small assignment for you. As you can see, White wrote in numerous short, episodic chapters. I'd like to see an essay of five hundred words minimum from all of you, discussing what effect this has upon the development of characterisation, and how the voice of the narrator assists in the understanding of the setting.

I think that giving you until the end of next week - that's the 21st, everyone - to complete this isn't unreasonable. Let me know if you have any questions, or if you believe I ought to give you more time.
