After returning home from the police station with a photo from their lost and found collection, Bruce hasn't made it past the kitchen. He's currently sitting at the table eating ice cream out of a pint of Jen and Barry's. The ice cream is full of nuts and jungle fruit and is marked as Fair Trade, so he is totally down with that.

What warrants the ice cream feast is the fact that the photo he claimed this afternoon is one he hasn't seen since before the accident; when he had still been a normal genius living a normal life. In the picture, a Bruce who is about a decade younger than the one currently sitting in the kitchen is next to Liv Tyler a pretty young woman, and he looks happier than anyone who currently knows him will have probably ever seen him.

Sighing, he tears his attention away from the photo and turns it back to the ice cream. Even if Betty were to show up at this point... well. That would either make everything simple, or create a ton of complications. Why can't matters of the heart be as simple to deal with as particle physics?
