I didn't know we had to go to school here! I've never gone to school before! Do I get graded on fighting monsters?! On saving the world?!

[Gambit is seated at an antique mahogany table in a smoky room, with a glass of cognac, a roll of twenties, and two face-up fanned-out card decks in front of him.]
Never thought it would be so hard to put together a regular card game. I come down to Madame Red's just about every night, but no matter how many times I'm here, still no action. Nobody wants to put any skin in the game.
So, tonight only, I do you a favor. Anyone willing to get a little blood in the water, I'll pick up their tab. We can play poker, blackjack, acey-deucy... if you want, I even play Old Maid. Or we can try a new game I picked up at a shop downtown -- still figuring out the rule booklet, but if it lives up to the name Exploding Snap, I think it must be fun, no?
One night. Free drinks. And if nobody comes, this boy be very disappointed.
