Blaming me for every single minor thing that goes wrong in this school is boring, and honestly, incredibly counterproductive when it comes to catching the real uninspired "pranksters." It's just going to encourage them to behave more ridiculously because they know the evidence I provide against them will never be believed.

I mean for God's sake, what could I possibly have to gain in planting a smoke bomb in the chemistry labs? I use those labs. I'm not exactly in the habit of unnecessary self-sabotage, and a smoke bomb is so dull and tame it's simply laughable. THINK IT THROUGH.

[totally new and staking out the area because that's what I do, which means probably walking past you and ignoring you too or whatever]

If you've really been here six months then there should be at least a week's total time where you weren't drowning yourself in chocolate ice cream holidays and actually paid attention to what was going on.

[There may be a person clad in all black leather sitting on a bench somewhere in the city, one leg crossed over the other and tapping away on his strange looking old touch screen phone. The new one that this place has given him is currently on his lap.]

Still nothing...

[He isn't very pleased that he's not getting any results.]

Our last social experiment of the semester has produced some unanticipated results. When I informed you all at the end of the finals period yesterday that for the remainder of the semester there would be no graded work or mandatory attendance, and that you were free to do as you liked with regards to my class without fear of punishment, perceptive students might have noted that this was a test of your adherence to the implicit social contract we at school abide by.

This means that when I inform you now that I will be asking some of you to stay after school in order to take a remedial refresher in ethics, it is neither a graded assignment or a punishment. It is instead a valuable opportunity to further your education in unexpected ways. It should be regarded in a positive, rather than a negative light, and the fact that truant officers will be enforcing your attendance should not indicate that I am requiring it personally.

Miss Flowers. Mister Holmes. Mister Lea. Mister LeBeau. Mister Lukasiewicz. Miss Martin. Miss Serket. Mister Strider. Mister Strider.

Mister Ikari, you may instead see me during my office hours. Your sterling attendance record deserves a commendation.

With final projects out of the way, I have to say, I was pleased with the creativity and ingenuity many of you showed. As you are all aware, I gave you a full semester to do this, so short of not bringing anything in, as long as you presented something, even if it was something you came up with in the last five minutes, you couldn't have failed. As for the alternative essay paper I gave for those who didn't have a project, they have been...interesting to read so far.

But I'm sick of reading, and I'm sure all of you are too. How much did we read? Two or three pages? So for the last day, we're going to do something fun instead. I'm going to put you into five separate teams. Each of you will represent a certain time period during American history. There will be props relevant to each time period and everything. Provided that the weather holds up, we're going to go outside and have an epic battle. I thought about quizzing you, but it's the end of the year. So instead it's up to all of you. Or we could watch a movie that has nothing to do with history except in a very broad sense. I'm taking votes! And there will be pizza. And soda. I'm not cruel enough to make you go without soda.

[Locked to Ms. Aisling]

Meet me in the break room at midnight sharp.
